“We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake,”
“While we continue to make every effort to help the recovery of the affected communities in the region, I would like to express our gratitude to every single PlayStation user across the world who made a contribution to the effort.”
The fundraiser, which started March 19th in North America and Europe and March 24th in Japan and Asia, saw the Playstation Store taking donations of $2, $5, $10, $25 and $50 and in return gives users a free custom XMB theme for their efforts.
The donation is run in 40 countries.
The fundraiser will continue indefinitely, so if you haven’t yet donated and you have some extra cash to spare, it’s for a great cause.
