Sonic the Hedgehog is about to turn 20 this year and Sega is ready to kick the celebration off on April 7th.

Sega had this to say on their Facebook page:

Sonic’s 20th Anniversary is this year, but SEGA start celebrating on Thurs 7th April – and you’ll only find out how here on Facebook!
