If you were planning on picking up SOCOM 4 on April 19th, you’re in for an added treat. Sony and Insomniac today announced that with specially marked copies of SOCOM 4 you’ll get a voucher code to get early access into the Resistance 3 Public Beta.

Resistance 3 is one of the most highly anticipated Playstation exclusives releasing this year so if you have enjoyed the series thus far this is just another reason to go pick up a copy of SOCOM 4.

If you’re considering the Full Deployment Edition, every copy will come with the Resistance 3 Public Beta so in my opinion that bundle just gets better and better.

Resistance 3 is slated for a September 6th, 2011 release.
