Things are finally getting back to normal in the world of PlayStation and so Sony are finally talking about games again. Although not a surprise to anyone, inFAMOUS 2 have officially been dated for Europe. Being a Hero becomes optional in mainland Europe and other PAL regions such as Australia on June 8th and the UK & Ireland aren’t far behind on June 10th. But that’s not all that was announced as well as the Standard, Special and Hero Editions revealed back in February, two more ways to get inFAMOUS 2 have been added to the mix.

A console bundle including a 320GB PS3 and copy of the game will been available on launch, along with two special DUALSHOCK 3 packs. These come in two flavours – ‘Hero’ which will contain standard copy of inFAMOUS 2 and a very special Cosmic Blue DAULSHOCK 3 Controller. There is also a ‘Villain’ edition, which will also contain a copy of the game and a equally special Crimson Red DAULSHOCK 3. Each controller is made of a coloured transparent plastic, a little less awesome than first thought, but still pretty cool.

The inFAMOUS 2 Special Edition is available to pre-order now exclusively through GAME and Gamestation. The Hero Edition is exclusively available from Play.com and most online retailers are also offering codes for Early Access to the upcoming Uncharted 3 Multiplayer BETA. So the really is no excuse not to pre-order one of the many different options available. The first inFAMOUS was a great game and it’s sequel looks like it will blow the original out of the water. And with the addition of User Generated Content, allowing player to create and share the own missions from within the inFAMOUS world, means June 10th can’t come soon enough. Don’t forget for the few of you that haven’t played the first game, Sony will be offering it for free as part of their Welcome Back Package.
