PlayStation Network ( PSN ) maintenance was recently postponed yesterday with confusion as to why. However Sony did release a press release regarding that PlayStation Store would be back up by the end of the week.
PlayStation Networked as been scheduled for maintenance today (1st June 2011 ) at 16:30 GMT to 7:00 GMT Thursday 2nd June 2011. You won’t be able to access PSN unless you sign in before 16:30 GMT today. However you will not be able to update your trophy progress within that time, till PSN is back online.
While PSN is under maintenance you will not be able to access:
- PlayStation Store on PS3 ( PlayStation 3 ) and PSP ( PlayStation Portable )
- PlayStation Network Account Management.
- PlayStation Network Account Registration.
We must also add that you can still play online as long as you sign in before the maintenance.
There has been speculations that the store will be back online after the maintenance, however this has not been confirmed and more of a rumour for the moment in time
