Following a cheeky leak last week on the website of US retailer Best Buy, the caped crusaders at WB Games have decided to officially announced the content of the much anticipated Batman Arkham City Collectors Edition, it will include the following goodies:
- Custom Batman statue produced by Kotobukiya
- Collectible art book (it wouldn’t be a Collectors Edition without one)
- Early access to the Iceberg Lounge Challenge Map and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns skin
- Batman: Arkham City album from WaterTower Music including original songs by hit artists, available via digital redemption
- Bonus DC Universe animated original movie, Batman: Gotham Knight (this is the same content that was a prequel for The Dark Knight)
As you can see it seems a rather impressive package, and it appears they have noted the criticism levelled toward the disappointing UK version of the Arkham Asylum Collectors Edition. Now we love a good old Collectors Edition here at PlayStationer.net so we are super happy this is being made available worldwide. No word on pricing but we’ll be sure to keep you updated with all things Batman Arkham City-related, that’s providing we don’t get crushed under an avalanche of Artbooks.
