Sony have announced their brand new annual rewards program called PlayStation Network PLAY. It’s a basically a loyalty program with a sprinkling of pre-order bonus rewards, of which we have come to expect with retail purchased games. Starting next Wednesday, you’ll be able to pre-order four upcoming PlayStation Network titles, if you purchase these titles before September 2oth, you’ll received an XMB theme for each of the titles and additional as well. That’s not all if you pre-order every title, detailed below, you’ll also get SOE’s gritty, first-person shooter PayDay: The Heist free of charge. If that’s not all PlayStation Plus members will also receive 20% discount on each of the games.

The four games, will be released by the end of the year via the PlayStation Store are:

Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition (which will be available to pre-order until 18 August, 2011) When Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition is purchased through PLAY, you’ll be able to unlock GILL, the self-proclaimed, as day-one DLC. All pre-orders will also receive a Capcom-produced theme.

The Baconing, (which will be available to pre-order until 25 August 2011) The vanquisher of Evil and dispenser of Justice Deathspank returns in TheBaconing and when purchased through PLAY, you’ll receive an additional co-op character, Roesha – One Bad Mutha. All pre-orders will also receive a static theme, exclusive to PLAY

Next up is BloodRayne: Betrayal (which will be available to pre-order until 1 September 2011) This 2D side-scrolling platformer looks quite exciting and when BloodRayne: Betrayal is purchased through PLAY, you’ll receive a BloodRayne: Betrayal virtual item for their PlayStation Home avatar and an exclusive dynamic theme. In addition, all pre-orders will also receive a static theme exclusive to PLAY.

Finally there’s Renegade Ops from SEGA (Which will be available to pre-order until 8 September 2011) This top-down, driving shooter features a huge variety of vehicles, guns and endless enemies. When Renegade Ops is purchased through PLAY, you’ll receive a Vehicle & Character Pack with two new vehicles and special weapons. All pre-orders will also receive a static theme, exclusive to PLAY.

You can pre-order each title separately (up to the date shown for each game above) and still recieve the XMB themes and other free goodies but remember, in order to qualify to receive PayDay: The Heist as a bonus gift, your purchases must be made by September 20, 2011.
