Another quick update from GC 2011! Sony announced today that they will be introducing a new game to the Resistance franchise that will only be playable on the PS Vita called Resistance: Burning Skies. This game is being developed by Nihilistic Games who say they have been “working with Insomniac” to create the best Resistance experience on PS Vita. This game takes place before the events of Resistance 2 when the Chimera began their invasion of New York. You play as a brand new character in the Resistance world called Jim Riley who is a New York Firefighter and has the power of the mighty fire axe! This game will also show some insight of the human race using new Chimeran technology to help them win the battle against those fiendish hybrids and Goliath’s! This game looks awesome and I personally can’t wait to get my hands on it and play!
