Sony has today confirmed what many fans around Europe have been waiting for, the PS Vita has been given a release date of February 22nd 2012 across Europe and other PAL regions.
The console will cost from €249.99 (RRP) [AUD$349.95 (RRP) / NZD$449.95 (RRP)] for the Wi-Fi model and €299.99 (RRP) [AUD$449.95 (RRP) / NZD$549.95 (RRP)] for the 3G/Wi-Fi model.
Update: Just to update you all, we’ve finally been sent the official prices for the UK

PlayStation Vita Wifi + 3G – £279.99 (RRP)
Surprisingly no sterling price was given so we’ll have to wait to find out what the UK will have to pay, however we will as always keep you informed if Sony let the price slip out later today.
