If Eurogamer’s rumour is to be believed, Fumito Ueda, creator of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus has left Sony to work on personal projects.

This would certainly explain the delays and silence surrounding The Last Guardian which is currently in development at Team Ico in Japan.

The game was first unveiled at E3 2009, and since then very little information has been revealed about it.

With the recent release of the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection, it felt that The Last Guardian was just around the corner, maybe now it will never see the light of day.
