Sony has finally spoken out about the recent rumours regarding the departure of Fumito Ueda from Team Ico.

Speaking with Gamasutra, Sony has cleared up all the rumours and quotes, stating that Ueda-san has indeed left Team Ico, but he will finish The Last Guardian under contract.

It’s nice to know that the game will be finished. Hopefully the final product will be as great as Team Ico’s previous titles, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and we can all look forward to another truly classic game.
