Square Enix has confirmed today that a free playable demo of Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released on the PSN on January 11th 2012.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is the sequel to rather mixed Final Fantasy XIII. Some loved it and some hated it, but Square Enix has said that XIII-2 will fix the majority of annoying issues gamers had with the first.

The game will be released in Europe on the 3rd February 2012. Mark your diaries.
