Sony has confirmed today that the first game in the highly praised Killzone series will be making it’s way to the PSN this January. January 24th to be precise.

The game will be downloadable only and will not feature a high definition remake like previous franchises have. It will be a simple digital version port of the original that came out back on the PS2 to rival the then new Halo series on the XBOX.

The game will cost £9.99. No news about whether or not trophy or achievement support is included. Given the fact that its just a complete copy and paste from the original our minds are firmly in the no column.
