Ubisoft has today announced that the next instalment in the Assassins Creed saga will indeed see a release this year, October 30th to be precise.
CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed while speaking at a conference call this afternoon that “Assassin’s Creed 3 is the true next generation of both the Assassin’s Creed brand and interactive entertainment/storytelling in general.”
The game has apparently been in development for 3 years but apart from that we have no other clues or information about where or when the game is set or who it will feature, but its highly likely not to feature Ezio from the previous instalments.
