A rarther eager employee of Best Buy has today released a image to Kotaku of the new protagonist that we can expect in Ubisoft’s up and coming Assassin’s Creed 3.

The picture pretty much confirms the rumours that have been whirling around the net of late that the next instalment will be set in America, most likely during the 18th century. Our new protagonist appears to be wielding a bow and arrow, pistol and a tomahawk. All are traditional 18th century American weapons, thus strengthening the time period rumoured.

Other information was also leaked that suggests that an official announcement from Ubisoft is due on the 5th of March. Although all this information is just a rumour and the only official announcement from Ubisoft has been that the game will ship on the 30th October 2012.
