Active Zone Group will be releasing Death Road on the Playstation 3 this summer.

Death Road is a futuristic racing game set on the planet Ameliana and will include eleven futuristic vehicles (with a slight resemblance to Wipeout vehicles) that you can race over eight different locations. Finishing first isn’t as easy as it sounds as not only will you be racing but you will need to be avoiding opposition racers and their weapons as well as dishing out your own damage using the six basic weapons like the machine gun or plasma gun.

The game will boast a single-player campaign containing 55 missions and a fast race, time trial, elimination, mine field, combat and the hunt all with unlocks and rewards. The game will also feature online multiplayer. Death Road is scheduled for a Summer release, check out the new gameplay trailer below.
