Milestone have announced that WRC 3 is set for release this October.

WRC 3 the official video game of the 2012 FIA World Rally Championship and is set for release this October and will feature completely new graphics and game engine developed in-house and will be available for the Playstation 3 and the Playstation Vita.

WRC will feature all of the rallies from the 2012 WRC calender with all leading drivers and teams with an all new career mode. Spikengine is the name of the all new graphics engine which will allow Milestone to accurately model lighting and particle effects. The cars will showcase new modelling techniques meaning they will look as lifelike as ever. All stages have been rebuilt and new cinematic introductions added to each one and crowd effects have been improved.

WRC 3 will also boast more than 50 official WRC teams, alongside the class 2 and 3 series and super special stages. Check out the screenshots below for a little peak.
