According to a post by MCV, GAME has reactivated their reward card loyalty system.

The use of reward points was suspended on March 26th when GAME entered administration, but the company now seems to be getting itself back on its feet, atleast with the stores that still remain open.

A statement issued to MCV by GAME stated:

“While our loyalty scheme and gift cards were suspended by the administrator during the period of administration last week, now that the business is under new ownership they are being reinstated in full this weekend. Customers will be able to use them as normal. We’re also working hard to restock our stores, and there will be a much bigger range of products for customers to choose from in the next couple of weeks.”

Last month, competitor ShopTo contemplated offering new customers £3 ShopTo credit upon submitting their old GAME reward cards, but strong opposition from certain gaming circles meant that this idea was quickly scrapped.

Has your faith in GAME been restored or will you be buying your games from different retailers from now on? Let us know in the comments section below.
