VooFoo Studios have been hard at work developing Pure Chess for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita.

Pure Chess used the aid of a Grandmaster in the development process to help capture the beauty, elegance and depth of the game that is still played by millions worldwide. The game will cater for not only professionals but also beginners with a comprehensive tutorial. Pure Chess will let you play up to seven players online with turn-based gameplay. For the Playstation 3 version Pure Chess will be playable in Stereoscopic 3D.

Pure Chess is the first Chess game to land on the Playstation Network and will be available next week, April 11th.
