Sony and retailers have confirmed that the previously Japan only red PS3 will be available in the UK in the next couple of weeks.

Eurogamer reports that the red 320 GB Slim PS3 will hit UK shores on 27th April for £250. It will be vailable from Amazon. It will also be available from Play.com from the later date of 4th May and cost £240.

No news was released on whether the blue version will follow suit .
