Codemasters have finally confirmed the release date for their upcoming smash em and crash em racing game DiRT Showdown.

DiRT Showdown is set for release May 24th across Europe, May 25th for the UK and May 29th for North America and will be launching on the new label, Codemasters Racing. I know i know the release date seems so far away, how will you cope? Well don’t worry as there will be a demo out worldwide on May 1st featuring a solo and multiplayer event. Alongside the launch of the demo Codemasters will be launching RaceNet as a beta.

RaceNet is a free online extension for all Codemasters Racing games. Players will be able to track their races, rewards and rivals through RaceNet which will be continually evolving over time.
