EA has released the first gameplay trailer for their up and coming survival horror game Dead Space 3.

The trailer shows more of the snowy landscape that Isaac will have to tackle. And boy does it look stunning. It also shows a  new necromorpth that seems to morph into different variants as you dismember it, sounds pretty cool. Oh and it seems pretty Dead Space to us. Although the trailer shows more of the drop in drop out co-op mode, EA confirmed that if you want to play single player on your own, your able to and you can enjoy the Dead Space series the way you remembered it. The co-op is simply optional.

Seems like all the fuss about how scary the game would be or whether it’s turning into Call of Duty in space was a little premature.

Dead Space 3 will be available from February next year on the PS3.
