EA has officially confirmed Battlefield 4 today. EA announced that a beta would be available exclusively for people who pre-order Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition which is released later this year.

The Battlefield 4 beta will be available in autumn 2013 according to EA.

The news doen’t come as much of a shock as over the weekend a leaked picture of Mead of Honor showed an advertisement for the beta. However it is nice to have some clarification.  EA said more details will become available soon, but in the mean time Frank Gibeau, President of EA Labels said:

“Though Battlefield and Medal of Honor Warfighter each offer players a completely unique experience, they are united by their underlying technology base – Frostbite. These are two of the hottest shooters, coming together to deliver a one-two punch of action, intensity and shooter entertainment.”
