Team 17 have announced today that their Worms Revolution title will hit the PSN this October. October 10th to be precise. The title will also set you back £9.99/€12.99.

Speaking to the EU PS Blog, Nick Clarkson – Communications Manager, Team 17 Digital said:

“It’s a completely new game built around the classic Worms 2D gameplay, but it also boasts a range of new, exciting features. Gamers will notice the game’s highly polished visuals but it won’t be until the action begins that they’ll marvel at new physics objects, dynamic water and an awesome class system.”

Team 17 have also released developer’s diaries. The following videos show Worms Revolution‘s designer, Kev Carthew introducing the game and Ian Lindsey, the game’s lead programmer talking about the development process.
