At last night’s PS4 press conference, Media Molecule demonstrated a tech demo where players used a PS Move controller to craft various 3D objects on screen.

In an interview with Polygon however, Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida was questioned over whether or not the PS4 would support other current-gen controllers.

Yoshida responded that “No, [the PlayStation 4] doesn’t support DualShock 3 but it does support PS Move”.

Sony however, have stated that they want all PS4 games to be compatible with the PlayStation Vita, and as such, developers are required to submit controller mappings to the PS Vita when developing new PlayStation 4 games.

Thanks Polygon.
