Ubisoft has officially revealed Assassin’s Creed 4.

The company has released the box art for the latest installment and promises more information on Monday. For the time being however Ubisoft has said:

“We confirm that Ubisoft will announce all the details of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag on Monday March 4th at 5pm GMT. And that the PS3 will receive “60 minutes of exclusive gameplay.”

There have been numerous leaks around the net the last couple of days suggesting that the game will be set during 1715 in the Caribbean, with Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas some of the areas you’ll be able to visit.

Another leak from Examiner has suggested that the main character is called Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway from Assassin’s Creed 3, and an Assassin.
