Sony has revealed that the PS4 has sold over 1 million units in the first 24 hours in the US.

Speaking on Twitter Shuhei Yoshida said: 

“PS4 has sold through over 1 million units within 24 hours of the launch in North America!!! :D”

Adam Boyes Sony Vice President of publisher and developer relations then added on Twitter:

“Thanks to all of you gamers in getting us to 1,000,000 sales of #PS4 in our first 24 hours!”

Looks like the PS4 is off to a flying start in the US and hopefully the trend will continue when it’s released in Europe. In case you’ve forgotten the PS4 is available in the EU from November 29th 2013. Not long now!
