Sony Computer Entertainment has today confirmed that PlayStation Mobile will finally be making its way to Irish shores a week before Christmas.

Prior to the PS Store expansion for PSM, SCE will also offer the PSM Developer Program, including distribution of the official PSM SDK*2, to Irish developers on December 5th, 2013.

Allowing a wide range of developers the ability to create dedicated content for PSM, the PSM Developer Program has been available since November 20th, 2012, in Japan, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Australia, followed by the launch in Hong Kong and Taiwan on January 21st, 2013

PlayStation Mobile will be available for devices that meet PlayStation Certified requirements including certain Android 2.3 devices as well as the PlayStation Vita.

As well as Ireland, PlayStation Mobile will also be available in 8 additional countries on December 18th, including Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and New Zealand.
