Late last year came the announcement of a new multi-player game from the folks behind Left 4 Dead, that game: Evolve. Although not too much has been revealed about Evolve, the bits that have trickled our way over the last few months have been very intriguing.

Evolve is set to be a completely multi-player game in which four players take on the roles of Hunters and another player takes on the role of the Monster in a 4 vs. 1 death match. According to Evolve’s official website: “Play as the Monster to use savage abilities and an animalistic sense to kill your human enemies, or choose one of four Hunter classes (Trapper, Support, Assault, and Medic) and team up to take down the beast on the planet Shear, where flora and fauna act as an adversary to man and monster alike.” The game will also feature a levelling up system in which players can unlock new Hunter and Monster characters, as well as gear, skins, and other fancy perks.

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like Arnie in Predator, this may be the game for you. There’s no release date as of yet, but Evolve is expected to hit shelves in late Autumn to early Winter 2014.
