Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition has been available to download from PSN since the end of last year. The game has been successful no matter what platform it becomes available for and now its getting a nice official case.

Following on from the successful release it has been confirmed that Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition will be available on disc from 14th May, 2014 in all PAL regions. If you prefer physical disks or just dont have the free space on your hard drive then this is perfect for you.

It comes with all the features you’d expect from the console versions of Minecraft, along with everything that came with update 14, including Emeralds, Ender Chests, potatoes and more.

In other PlayStation-related news, 4J are working on bringing Minecraft to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The team tweeted a picture to promote a discount on Perfect Dark but in the background you can clearly see Minecraft running on the PS Vita.
