Konami have unveiled a 5 minute trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at this year’s E3. The trailer directed by Hideo Kojima is as cinematic as ever and reveals what I can only assume are various cutscenes throughout the game.

We see more of Miller and Ocelot, as well as getting our first proper look at Quiet, the Sniper Wolf of 1984, and Hal Huey Emmerich. Towards the end we also see a Metal Gear that looks exactly like Metal Gear: Rex. What’s most interesting about the trailer though is Snake’s transformation. You can see how he slowly begins to transform into an angry, cold killer who seeks only revenge as everything he knows and loves is slowly picked apart and destroyed.

Although short, we loved Ground Zeroes as it gave us an exciting look at The Phantom Pain. E3’s trailer only has us more excited. How about you?
