Teased along with the launch of the PlayStation 4, we all knew that a new Uncharted game was in the works. Yesterday at E3 we got our first glimpse at Nathan Drake on next gen and a name for the game; Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

What we can gather from the trailer is that it has been several years since Uncharted 3, and we can see that Drake is certainly older sporting crows-feet and beginning to show a little grey in his stubble. Sully is still alive and kicking and willing to help Drake on one last adventure. The landscape appears to be very similar to the jungles seen in Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and the skeletons in the hanging cages echo that as well if I’m not mistaken. No actual gameplay is show but the disclaimer at the beginning of the trailer stating that all footage is captured from a PlayStation 4 is very interesting. I wonder if they used the ‘Share’ button to capture it. Given that most games cutscene graphics are the same as the gameplay graphics these days, the game is going to look fantastic if that’s also the case for Uncharted.

Are you looking forward to another game with Mr. Drake? We certainly are. Let us know you thoughts on the trailer below.
