One thing I love about sites like Reddit and Twitter is how easy it is for game developers to communicate with the player base. In a thread on the Rocket League sub-reddit, an active member of the staff which frequents the site responded to a user’s post stating that:

There are not going to be power-ups added to [Rocket League]. We’re not going to change balance, add stats, change physics, etc. We have a good formula and there are already infinite ways to make the game even better without changing core gameplay.

I’m glad to see such quick and open responses from Pysonix and that Rocket League won’t be moving to some sort of pay-to-win model. Rocket League is one of my favourite games at the moments and with the latest server performance update it’s running as smooth as ever.
