If the Uncharted 3<\/em> Beta has taught us anything, it’s that PlayStation owners love a good Beta. So get ready because this August EU PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to join the resistance and try out the Resistance 3<\/em> multiplayer before anyone else. The Beta will be available to download from the PlayStation Store on August 10th, with a fully open Beta following at a later date.<\/p>\n

The Beta will feature 2 maps, one of which is based in Wales, which is a nice little nod to the unique setting of the first Resistance<\/em> game. Two modes will be playable during the Beta, with players being able to level up to the capped limit of 20. It should provide a nice little taster of what to expect from Resistance 3’s<\/em> improved multiplayer mode, ahead of the games release in September. We’ve sampled the a small piece of the single player game and if that’s anything to go by, the improved control and additional\u00a0weaponry should\u00a0\u00a0bode well for the multiplayer side of things.<\/p>\n
