Sony has today given it’s PS Move\u00a0exclusive\u00a0title Sorcery a release date. The game will hit US shores on May 22nd 2012 and on May 23rd for us Europeans.<\/p>\n

It’s been a little while since we’ve had any more\u00a0information\u00a0and the game that broke at E3 2010 but the PS Blog has today released a couple of new\u00a0screens\u00a0to get you in the mood.<\/p>\n

Brian Upton the Creative Director also talked on the Blog about the game’s plot line:<\/p>\n

“Finn is in trouble. First, he accidentally blew up his master\u2019s alchemy lab. Then he\u2019s let Erline, his master\u2019s magical cat, talk him into trespassing in the realm of the dead. Now he\u2019s unleashed an ancient universe-destroying evil that won\u2019t stop until everything he cares about is utterly annihilated. It has not been a good day.<\/p>\n

Even though he\u2019s only an apprentice, Finn must find a way to defeat the Nightmare Queen before she destroys the human world. To do this he must plunge deep into the realm of faerie \u2014 the Endless Stair, the Faerie Forest, the Slumbering Palace. With Erline travelling at his side he must master powerful and arcane magical spells, and use them to overcome the strange and twisted servants of Nightmare. He must solve challenging puzzles, and decipher the mysteries of alchemy. He must discover the secrets of the Nightmare Queen\u2019s power and undo the damage that she has wrought.<\/p>\n

And, above all, he must earn the right to be called \u2026\u00a0sorcerer<\/em>.”<\/p>\n
