Remember that EA said during this years E3 that people who purchase Battlefield 3 new will receive a free copy of Battlefield 1943, only for that offer to dissapear into thin air.

Well today EA  have announced that that was all a misunderstanding as we will revive  the offer. Unsurprisingly this turn of events came after gamers had threatened to take EA to Court.

EA mentioned in it’s little press release that “There have been some misunderstandings around Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield 3. To address this we are making Battlefield 1943 available free of charge to owners of Battlefield 3 on the PS3 beginning this month.”
